How I approach therapy:
The beliefs and patterns that we have developed over time continue to influence our day-to-day experiences. By becoming attentive and curious about what is happening for us in the present moment, we can begin to shift these stuck patterns with awareness, compassion and kindness. I have developed my own fluid blend of mindfulness, body-based, expressive arts, and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. I focus on you - your needs and wants are important to me and become the foundation of our work together.
I have experience working with many types of struggles, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, low self-worth, dysfunctional family systems, and trust and intimacy in relationships.
Couples/Relationship work:
I work with you as partners who are co-creating a relational bond. My therapeutic approach is a blend of individual exploration and sharing, and practical skills for more clear and loving communication. I enjoy working with couples using a blend of attachment-based dynamics and active skill-building.
